WESTBURY, NY–(Marketwired – October 23, 2015) – Spectronics Corporation is set to feature the PowerMAX™ 365 Series NDT panel flood lamps at this year’s ASNT trade show exhibit October 26-28. Each Nondestructive Testing lamp features a panel of 16 powerful UV-A (365 nm) LEDs and is engineered specifically for NDT professionals who work with wide-range inspection areas. Using easy-to-install connecting plates and brackets, technicians can customize an inspection range using multiple lamps either longitudinally or back-to-back, providing a wider coverage area for examination. The PowerMAX™ 365 Series is ideal for Nondestructive Testing inspection booths, fluorescent penetrant and magnetic particle inspection, screening of fluorescent particles, wash station inspection and any other application that requires maximum uniformity of UV-A coverage over a large area.
This series of Nondestructive Testing lamps are available in two unique standard-intensity models, each with or without a black light filter. Providing a UV-A intensity of 4,500 µW/cm² (maximum), each model has a wide coverage area of 15 inches by 6 inches (38 cm x 15 cm), with a minimum UV-A intensity of 2,000 µW/cm².
Other features of the PowerMAX™ 365 NDT Series include:
- Low visible light emission — less than 2 foot-candles (22 lux)
- Built-in fans keep LEDs cool to maintain optimum light output during extended use
- Meets ASTM UV-A intensity and wavelength specifications for FPI and MPI
- Standard-intensity lamps meet ASTM UV-A intensity and wavelength specifications for FPI and MPI, and come with a certificate of compliance for both wavelength and output measurements
Spectronics Corporation’s viewing room will be set up to display the PowerMAX™ 365 Series and many other Nondestructive Testing tools at the 2015 ASNT Conference in Salt Lake City. For more information on our NDT inspection products and upcoming trade shows, please visit http://www.spectroline.com.
